Visit to Miami restaurant update

Last week I spend 5 days with friends from Italy eating and exploring. Restaurants to try:

Hakkasan–located in the Fontainebleau Hotel

Hakkasan is an exciting new Asian theme dining experience. the food was wonderful, interesting, and the presentation was great. Everything about the restaurant  invites you to enjoy an adventure in dining.  1-786-276-1388.

CASA TUA—Special Italian restaurant across from the new Symphony hall. The food was excelent, service was right on. they were very busy but nothing was to much to ask.  We ate inside but the out side tables were beautiful and very romantic with all the low light and candles. It is expensive but worth the cost.  1-305-673-1010 make reservations in advance.

DB Bistro–Daniel Boulud just opened this beautiful space a few months ago. The rooms were a soft coral color, easy to talk and very upscale service. Menu had so may good choices and even the starters were fine to share.  Reserve ahead: 1-305-421-8800

MICHAEL’S GENUINE—Went back for lunch after a great dinner last year. Michael still pleases with a great menu and lots of energy. The tomatoes are always a must any way they serve them. We had the flatbread with mushrooms and a tomato beet salad. Since we do not have tomatoes at this time of year in Seattle it was an extra special treat.  Michael’s book comes out this next month so look for it.   1-305-573-5550
